Nearest neighbors methods are becoming increasingly popular in the field of natural resources, with special regards to forest applications. Experiences in the use of these methods range from imputation of single tree characteristics to regional scale multi-source forest attribute mapping.
The goal of the Nearest Neighbors Workshop Series is share current applications and research findings and in doing so, foster new partnerships and ideas. The workshops include presentations from researchers from around the globe.
