Nearest
neighbors methods are
becoming
increasingly
popular
in the field
of natural resources.
Application
of these methods
range
from
imputation of single
tree characteristics
to
regional scale multi-source
forest
attribute mapping.
The
goal of the 2006 Nearest
Neighbors Workshop
is
to
share current applications
and research findings
and in doing
so,
foster new
partnerships and
ideas.
The
workshop will include
presentations from
researchers
from around the globe.
